Calcium buildup and waterline scale are two of the most common problems we see on pools here in the Glendale area. Over time, hard water deposits cling to the tile and dull the whole look of the pool - even if the water chemistry is perfectly balanced. It just gets grimy, and no amount of brushing really fixes it.

That's exactly what we were dealing with on this Arrowhead Ranch pool. The tile needed a proper deep clean before anything else could happen. We went tile line to tile line, breaking down the buildup and restoring the natural color and texture of the tile. The mosaic accent tile especially - you can see how much detail comes back once that scale is gone.

After the tile cleaning, we drained the pool and performed a full acid wash on the shell. This is the part most people don't realize makes such a big difference. An acid wash strips away embedded algae staining, mineral deposits, and years of discoloration right down to a fresh layer of the plaster surface. What you're left with is a pool that looks - and functions - like it got a hard reset.

We then refilled the pool with fresh water. Clear, clean water over a freshly washed surface is a completely different look than what most pools are sitting with after a few seasons of use. The tile pops, the water reads crisp, and the whole backyard feels different.

A pool drain and acid wash isn't something you need every year - but when a pool needs it, nothing else comes close to the results. If your tile is caked with scale or your plaster has gone dull and stained, this is the service that brings it back.
